Coffee Pots

When we got the trailer I bought an unbreakable French press to make coffee.  Once I used it a few times and figured out how to avoid the grounds it has worked quite well and the coffee tasts great.  However, it is a chore to clean it out when trying not to use much water. If we are hooked up to water that isn’t an issue but often that is not the case. Plus it is messy besides when you are trying to wipe all the grounds out of the pot. While here in Georgia shopped in town trying to find a Melitta-type coffee maker, or any sort of nonelectric, drip-type coffeemaker.  Since I could not find one I ordered a 6-cup Melitta coffee maker for $9. from Amazon (what DID I do before Amazon???) and it has arrived, actually arrived yesterday, in one day!  (filters too!) What a breeze to clean this up, just lift out the filter and dispose, no grounds to wipe up and hassle into the trash sack, LOVE IT!  The down side it is glass, but hopefully stored in a safe place while traveling will give it a long life.
